Whiskers are antennas!

It's almost the anniversary of my greatest kill-the green snake that had invaded my space in the basement. Feeling ignored because it was Thanksgiving, I shook the life out of the skinny thing. I left it on the rug at the bottom of the basement steps as 'my offering' for the meal. I never heard any compliments at all. It was 'who is getting that thing out of here?' or 'I can't touch it, I'm cooking'. Talk about gratitude. Never again-unless it would make an awesome new toy!
