Ice Hockey

Well the Catolympics missed an event that I excel at-ice hockey! Just drop a chipped piece of ice on the new kitchen floor (and this happens a lot), I bat it around until it gets too cold for my paw. I start shaking my paw and my mom laughs. : )
Thanks for asking about all the rain in our immediate area. We got some water in our basement, just enough for me to get my paws wet. The peeps cleaned it up fairly well, but have to move stuff so gross stuff doesn't grow, whatever that is. But rivers and all have overflowed. The road to my grandmom's was terrible and mom couldn't get to her house this past Wednesday. Things seem to be drying out. Thanks for your concern.

The world is ending...

Guys, there's terrible booming noises all around me! I was in the new window and quickly got down. I wasn't even interested in mom's ice cream and whipped cream! Maybe it's the closing ceremony of the Catolympics that I completely forgot about! I can't believe they did all those events in one day. Wow-cats are really athletic!
The noise seems to be quieting down. Whew!

In the good ol' summertime

Ah, this plastic chair thingie is so nice! I catch a little breeze from underneath too! Right in mid-paw lick, I heard a birdie making silly noises. I was hoping he'd come just a little bit closer...

Bad Puddy Part 2

I am not really allowed to be in this window, but I said 'what the heck' and decided to enjoy the view. I gingerly went around all the tchotchkes and plants and settled in for a snooze. Mom was not amused and I got chased.

Bad Puddy

I just couldn't help myself! I was out on the back patio with mom and dad after dinner. Something caught my eye and then I spotted the critter-a bunny eating a discarded bagel mom had tossed out across the yard under a tree. I couldn't take my eyes off him nimbling away like he owned the place. Dad was wondering if I would indeed go after it and Mom said she wasn't sure. Well, something inside me said to 'go for it' and I went after that rabbit like there was no tomorrow! Mom said I was like a panther leaping across the yard! Big ears got away and dad nabbed me near the pond. Guess where I went next-inside. Well, I had all this hunting still in me and I torn around the house and messed up all the throw rugs.
Maybe I'll get my chance again...tomorrow. ; )
