Jungle fever
I had Ma on her toes this afternoon! She let me out and I was minding my own business chewing on grass and the neighbor's dog yapped at me from across the street. I decided to go way under a bush and Ma was not happy as she was hot and wanted to go back in to the the arctic chill. So she found an old milk weed stem and started to poke at me! I got mad and took off down the 'dreaded' hill in back of the house. Ma almost had a bird! She tried everything to get me up to her, but the scents of other animals and all made me want to wonder on. I did this for an entire hour. Finally, when I had enough (my decision!) I crept up and she grabbed me and tossed me in the house. I heard her say to dad that 'that was it' with being without the harness outside-drats! But she had no right poking me with the stick either. She wouldn't feed me until I 'kissed' her hand. When I first came in I wanted to bite her so bad. I hope I don't have bugs on me. I think I'll go lay near Ma's bed!

Oh for crying out loud....
No wonder I have a hissy fit sometimes. You people and your light box! Geez-I am just trying to get 40 winks (what does that really mean?) and you stick that thing in my face and 'pop' there goes that bright light. Can't you see me and my piggie bank want to be left alone? I am still not in the forgiving mood because ma had me outside on the harness and I decided I didn't want to budge and stood my ground and hissed at her. I even tried to bite her! She's a pain sometimes...but I do love her... I think.

A new bed
Ma surprised me with a new oval bed this week! She 'christened' it with nip and I settled in right away. You can still see the nip in the photo. She says it's nice because she can take off the cover and wash it to make it all clean and new again. Think I'll keep her....and the bed! See ya later! ZZZzzzzz

Sniffing like crazy
Something strange was under this bush. I couldn't quite get the scent of the critter. It was way up in there. Mom had to come and get me as I was in this same spot for about 10 minutes. Don't my stripes look handsome though?
