New hiding place

Mom and Dad got a new bed! And it's high up too. I can still easily jump on it, but the two of them look so silly getting up on it. Mom said it's half her height. The bestest thing is that now I have a big bed to hide under(the other was much lower)! That's if mom would stop putting her 'stuff' back under it. If she isn't going to read the books, just get rid of them, you know?
I am psyched!

I can clean this for you!

Mom was busy housecleaning the kitchen (it was a terrible mess) and I happened to notice something in the dishwasher. It was this rubber thing she uses to wipe off my hammock that is normally used to unstick jars. What the heck was it doing in here?

Gave my mom a good laugh

My mom was sitting on the floor a lot last night. Not just in one spot, but in several spots. I think she does this to get closer to me! She seems to be sorting through lots of paper-little pieces, book size, you name it. I actually like sitting on the papers sometimes. So last night I tried to get in mom's lap while she was sorting. She snuggles me and all, but takes me off so she can resume what she is doing. This lady is always sorting something. Too bad she can't make money doing it!
Anyway, mom was sitting next to this bowl of ceramic balls. Not only are they big, but they are cold. She took one out and rolled it at me, not once, but several times! Finally, I could take it no more and I started to kick the ball with my back feet! It rolled and rolled because I could get a grip on to it. Mom started to laugh her head off! She said I looked like a circus dog! Man, that stinks! But to make her laugh is special to me. Glad she thought I was funny.

I thought I saw a puddy cat!

So this black and white 'neighbor' cat was on 'my' back patio tonight! Dad thought it was funny! He opened the back door to taunt me. The 'other' cat came up the back steps to check me out. I remember that scoundrel from when I was a free wondering cat. I hissed at him. When he went back down the steps I started at the door, backed up and made a circle. I was so raring to get to the booger. I did the circle thing at least half a dozen times! I think that cat likes my mom too! Go home, stinky butt!

Blue Christmas?

Mom set this up in the family room to take a photo of it for eBay. It was like a new toy to me with all those ornaments! I remember being able to fit under Christmas trees a little better though. Geez Louise!

Regal guy

Not me! His name is Olee (I think).

I found this cool dude (if you can call him that-that hat looks rather uncomfortable) on Catster!

Strolling down the path

Sorry about the 'behind' view, but I am off to sniff out the birds!

Stalking birdies

So you want to tease a cat? Get a bag of sunflower seeds and fill up not one, but two birdfeeders with them. The one is okay, I can watch the birds from my basement window perch. But please, don't take me outside near the one in the front. That drives me crazy! I start moving my mouth fast because I can just taste that crunchy little critter! The feeder is right next to a huge evergreen tree, so the birds like to hop around inside it's branches. Yesterday, I saw one and got really low to the ground and scooted along the stone path (no harness). Darn, it got away!
Today I actually got under the tree and mom had a 'bird' herself! Actually, she wasn't yelling and I came out in a few minutes. But she wiped off my back and in I went. It was too windy and noisy anyway. Maybe next time...
